Tamworth Flight School
Tamworth Airport is Airspeed Aviation’s largest base supporting our Charter, Flight Training and Maintenance Administration operations.
We opened our Tamworth Flight School in 2015 and in 2021 we established our own facilities in Hangar 8.
Tamworth Airport is a major Regional Airport servicing a population of over 65,000 from Tamworth city and its surrounding areas. It is an all-weather, day/night airport featuring all major Navigation aids and serviced by 3 scheduled airlines.
Airspeed Aviation is the only CASA-approved Flight School at Tamworth Airport and we offer flight training from beginners up to Commercial Pilot Licence and beyond.
